Practical Information


The Master of Science (MSc) in BIOBANKS AND COMPLEX DATA MANAGEMENT is open to high-level graduates holding a bachelor degree of at least three years (BAC + 3) in the field of Life Sciences (biology, pharmacy, biotech etc.), who have interest in the field of biobanking or wish to specialize or broaden their professional knowledge in biobanking.

Applicants may apply in the same year they obtain their degree.

We welcome applications from candidates of all nationalities, who are fluent in English and who have a strong quantitative background. French language proficiency is not an admission criterion.

Our students will respect the following conditions:

- The students are fluent English speakers (a Language Certificate may be required).

Able to commit at least 6 months internship abroad (M1, M2 or both).

- Full-time courses (FR: présence obligatoire).

The selection is a 2 phase process:

- The pre-selected candidates will then be invited for a face-to-face or Skype interview. The applicants are encouraged to discuss their unique background, motivation, interests, and goals during this interview.

Application deadline no later than June 30th, each year.  Admission Results no later than September 10, each year.  

Supporting documents to be uploaded before the application deadline:

  • Degree certificate(s) or current enrollment certificate
  • Application form (see Supporting Documents as an example)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • One online letter of recommendation (should be from a professor)
  • *For non-French students, English language proficiency test score report (TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS or Cambridge) if available

After admission results, administrative application online at:



4000€ per year - The tuition fee may vary according to your residence status, namely if you are a resident of an EU country or of a country outside the EU.
In addition, financial aid (need-based or merit-based scholarships) will be available to students, and other sources of funding will also be available through each training course.


Nationals of EU member states

EU students may live and study in France with a national ID card. No passport or visa required.

Non-nationals of EU member states

Students from outside the European Union must have a valid passport and obtain a student visa from the French Embassy or consulate in their country of origin or permanent residence before arriving in France.
