A delegation from the Université Côte d'Azur in India

Following its 2017 participation in the first Ph.D. Tour organized in India by Campus France, the Université Côte d'Azur has responded to the invitation of the French Embassy in India to meet with institutions of higher education and high-level research, and to explore strategic scientific partnerships between the two countries and the exchange of students.
The trip took place over the week of January 15th in Bangalore and Chennai.

Several institutions were visited, including the prestigious Indian Institute of Sciences (IISC) and the International Center for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute in Bangalore, and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in Chennai.

The opportunity was also taken to promote the degree programs offered by the Université Côte d'Azur, with the support of Campus France and Alliance Française.
The delegation* was also interested in Bangalore’s particularly innovative business ecosystem and took the opportunity to visit some major industrial groups such as Amadeus, Dassault Systèmes and Schneider Electric and to explore partnerships in R & D and continuing education.

A scientific workshop is planned in Nice over the course of 2018 to promote exchanges between the scientific community of the Université Côte d'Azur and the partners from India.
