Two agreements were signed by UCA on this occasion:

- the 5-year renewal of the MAJULAB International Joint Unit with the introduction of the Sorbonne University as a member and the possibility of identifying mirror laboratories. The partners remain the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University and the CNRS. Quantum sciences and technologies are at the heart of the project.

- an agreement with Nanyang Technological University linking their Energy Research Institute and the Mediterranean Institute for Risk, Environment and Sustainable Development (IMREDD) of the Université Côte d'Azur, particularly focused on the theme of “smart cities”. An “innovative city” workshop in Nice, June 2018, will be dedicated to the presentation of these joint projects and will be part of the France-Singapore Year of Innovation 2018.
