Six DS4H students have joined the Spring session of the INVENT@UCA program

The Spring session of the INVENT program of Université Côte d’Azur has begun in this early month of February. Congratulations to the six DS4H students who have been selected for this session :

 

DEMOLA Projects

  • Trustsat: Aqib SALEEM (M1 Computer Science) and Ignacio Sanchez Vazquez (M1 in Data Science EIT)

Goal : to identify a solution to attest the veracity of information produced from data.

  • Mobility for Seniors: Cristina Amaya RIOS IRIBARREN (M1 in Data Science EIT)

Goal : to imagine an operating model aiming at facilitating the communication between the various stakeholders of the senior mobility program.

 

OASIS Projects

  • Citizen Engagement Labs : Parisa ARDIANMOGHADAM (M1 Computer Science)

Goal : to create and to launch a laboratory for local citizen engagement with Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur with the aim of improving the quality of life and well-being of Nice citizens.

  • Waste No More : Hamed KIANI (M1 Computer Science) and Yiriui Wang (M2 in Data Science EIT)

Goal : to develop a local circular economy based on an involvement and reward system of citizens, companies and associative world actors thanks to a local currency.

 

Projects from the INVENT@UCA program are part of the DS4H Graduate school training program. DEMOLA projects focus on business innovation whereas OASIS projects are turned toward societal innovation. In both cases, students form multidisciplinary teams with different educational backgrounds and work in a co-creation 3-month process to propose solutions on a given problem. This innovative pedagogical offer give students the opportunity to develop original skills (innovation methods, creativity, etc.) companies are looking for nowadays.

The Spring session ends on April, 12th and will result in a Final pitch event. Stay tuned!
