Individual Tutorship

Tutorships provide training to research by immersion in a laboratory.

Tutorships provide training to research by immersion in a laboratory. The student joins a team from a laboratory associated with DS4H and works on a research topic under the supervision, and with the support, of a tutor.

To validate his enrolment in a tutored project, the student must choose at the beginning of the semester a subject from those proposed by the tutors or propose one himself. The students get in touch with the tutors to seek a working framework agreement on a 2 or 3 semesters period (S1+S2, S2+S3 or S1+S2+S3).

On the 4th semester, the tutored project can lead to an internship within the hosting laboratory, but other types of pursuit remain possible: the student can change laboratories for his research internship, decide to complete an internship within a company or manage an innovation/entrepreneurship project.

2-semester long tutorships allow students to carry out another type of project on S1 or S3.
