The Labex UCN@Sophia delivers the core expertise and the internationally recognized excellence in research that lie at the heart of the DS4H project.

The LABEX UCN@Sophia lies at the heart of the DS4H research project.

Its research program is dedicated to User-Centric Networks was awarded by the French Ministry for Research and Higher Education through the competitive call « Laboratory of Excellence » (Labex) in the context of the government fund for « Investments for future » in 2012.

The Labex UCN@Sophia is composed of 6 partners laboratories (I3S, LEAT, Inria Sophia Méditerranée, EURECOM, LTCI, Polytech Lab) affiliated to 4 institutes (University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, CNRS, Inria and  EURECOM) sharing an interest for telecommunications networks and their uses, co-located on the SophiaTech Campus that was created in 2012 in Sophia Antipolis to gather all ICST education and research actors on a single site.
