Biographie

Christine Voiron-Canicio, Agrégée de géographie, 1981 ; PhD of Geography 1992, Professor, University Nice Sophia Antipolis, since 1998. Bronze medal CNRS, 1996. Director of the laboratory ESPACE (CNRS – University Nice Sophia Antipolis, Aix Marseille University, Avignon Pays de Vaucluse University). Member of the Scientific Committee of the SRADDT PACA.

Topics: urban and regional geography, territorial dynamics, urban risks, land use changes, spatial processes occuring in urban coastal areas, sustainable development, geo-prospective, geo-governance. Methodology: spatial analysis methods, image analysis, systemic and spatial modellings. Current research: assessment of climate change impacts on city functioning, vulnerability and urban resilience, adaptive capacity to technological change (e-mobility).
