Dan Tino




Dan Tino is an award-winning screenwriter finishing his second year in the MFA Program in Screenwriting at UCLA. In 2017 his feature script Breaking Up Shivawon the UCLA Screenwriter's Showcase for Best Feature Comedy. Dan has been working in the film and television industry since 2005, first as a script supervisor for the comedy Danny Roane: First Time Director and then as a producer and casting director for shows on FOX, NBC, MTV and Discovery Channel. He has written music for Friday Night Lights on NBC and two other feature films while working as a professional casting director and writing numerous original feature and television scripts. As an actor and musician, Dan has performed on stage in Los Angeles at The Improv, The Comedy Store and many other venues across the city and has had guest roles in various films and television shows including Employee of the Month and House Arrest on atom.com. Dan received his BA in History at UC Berkeley in 2011 and is on track to graduate from UCLA's Master's Program in Screenwriting in June.
