Biographie

Eric Mallory Morgan is an ex-Oregonian, ex-New Yorker, ex-Louisianan who writes and lives in Los Angeles. He received a B.A. in Writing and Visual Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and is currently completely his MFA in Screenwriting at UCLA. He is a back-to-back winner of the Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award (First Place in 2016 for Tonya, Third Place in 2017 for Hole in the Sky). Eric’s sportswriting has been featured in Howler Magazine and at deadspin.com. In his early 20s, Eric co-created a reality- TV cooking gameshow, $12 Challenge, for the now defunct off-shoot of the Food Network, Food2. Nowadays, Eric spends as much time as possible at home with his partner Laura and their two cats, Gertrude Stein and Bread Puddin’.
