Promotion 2005- 2006 / Head Wealth Management Digital Transformation aux Emirates Arabes Unis
  • Parlez-nous de vous…

My name is Safa Bouzidi-Leterme, I am 37 and I was part of the 2005-2006 Master’s class, After my graduation, my career was 100% abroad. I am currently Heading the Wealth Management Transformation unit covering Africa, Middle East and Pakistan in Standard Chartered Bank. I have joined Stanchart back in 2008 in Singapore and have worked since then in many roles across multiple business lines from investment banking to technology and COO functions mainly driving change agenda.

Post my graduation at Nice Sophia-Antipolis, I had two job offers: one for a Luxembourg bank as an operational analyst and the second one as a FM business analyst for Fortis Bank Brussels. Having had interviews in both cities I have decided to go for Brussels as the city was much more welcoming!

  • Pourquoi avez-vous choisi ce Master ?

Two many reasons made me apply for this master: 1) was the variety of subjects we had to study from IT, to Project Management/BA work, knowledge management, marketing etc and 2) I wanted to simply move away from my initial degrees specs which was mainly around foreign languages and commerce.

  • Quels résultats avez-vous obtenus dans vos précédentes expériences dans la digitalisation ?

My change management experience has significantly evolved throughout the years, where I did initially looked at ERP automation etc, gradually with the evolution of banking, payment, increasing focus has been brought to digitization.

I now essentially look at digitization all Wealth Management Products Offerings on platforms like mobile etc for the entire region.

Africa being one of the growing market in terms of digital and mobile penetration, there is an increasing opportunity of becoming #1 bank to offer these services across our footprint.
