Introduction

The Innovation et Management de la Transition des Territoires course enables students to acquire the transformative methods and skills necessary to carry out innovative projects of all types of organizations. This course offers 3 specific areas of expertise: the management of innovative projects, the management of the economic and societal transition of the territories and the entrepreneurial support.

The training thus integrates three interrelated dimensions: innovation, entrepreneurship and territory. Because although innovation represents a major vector of business competitiveness, understanding territorial ecosystems is a major lever for the innovations of the future. Hence the need to train upstream in the appropriation of tools specific to innovation management while controlling the resources of a territory.

In a context where territorial development is essential for the development and growth of SMEs and innovative start-ups, the master is presented as a training offer developing all the keys to understanding the issues and understanding the trades of the territory.

With the expansion of professions linked to the valuation and economic promotion of territories as well as support for the creation and development of businesses, the IMT Master is asserting itself as a dual offer of adapted “territory - innovation” training. to issues essential to territorial economic development.

Taught as much by reputable faculty members and members of the CNRS as by professionals and experts, the IMT Master's training offers students an approach that is both analytical and operational.

The IMT course benefits from its location within a particularly rich ecosystem to understand entrepreneurship, innovation management, understanding of territories and local ecosystems. The Région SUD and the Côte d'Azur constitute an ecosystem combining research structures, universities, incubators, public and semi-public institutions, large groups, SMEs, startups, competitiveness clusters or even operations of national interest ... The richness of this ecosystem offers master's students an analytical framework whose lessons can be duplicated in other territories.

Through its understanding of the territory, local ecosystems and innovation management, the IMT course presents itself as a privileged gateway for the professions of support, promotion and territorial development as well as entrepreneurship. and innovative project management.
