Introduction

The objective of the APA-S master’s program is to train project managers in "health prevention" and/ or physical activity intervention frameworks for people seeking improvement or maintenance of their health. By following the curriculum, the student is able to develop, implement and evaluate programs of physical activities adapted to preventive and/or therapeutic purposes taking into account the context (nutritional, historical, socio-political, cultural). Graduates of the APA-S master’s program collaborate with a medical team or a multidisciplinary network. They develop strategies to promote the optimization of health.

The skills targeted by the end of the program are: 1. The creation, development and management of services/structures in Adapted Physical Activities and Health 2. Evaluation, design and programming of the Adapted Physical Activity and its follow-up 3. The integration of nutritional knowledge into the design of Adapted Physical Activity 4. The management and evaluation of projects for the development and promotion of Physical Activity Health 5. Support for lifestyle changes (individuals, environments) 6. The use of the scientific approach for optimization and innovation in Adapted Physical Activity for health purposes

APAS Master 2 training program, by means of deepening and improved scientific knowledge on the effects of lifestyle on the development of chronic pathologies favored by aging, will instruct students using an innovative project approach.
