Introduction

This master’s program trains students in management, from an operational perspective of business issues. It aims to professionalize students,especially through vocational training or the participation in a 4-month minimum internship in a company or in other private or public organizations, in France or abroad. This program also leads to the professions of research and consulting in management sciences, by the preparation for a PhD in Management Sciences Separate tracks are also offered to students: MANAGEMENT OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATION (COM) PUBLIC MANAGEMENT (MAP) INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT (MHI) MANAGEMENT OF ART AND CULTURE (MAC) CONSULTING AND RESEARCH IN MANAGEMENT SCIENCES (RCSG)

Objectives

MANAGEMENT OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATION (COM) track: Master communication strategies and techniques; Identify contemporary organizational and managerial changes (innovations) to better support and explain them within the company; Have a good command of oral and written expression techniques; Build a communication pitch; Plan actions and build them in a context of strong time constraints; Know communication tools, their fields of application, and effectiveness as well as the media and the press; Take action within the framework of the general communication policy of the organization; Have a basic knowledge of complementary techniques related to communication (office, printing, audiovisual, multimedia, PAO - graphics, editing, video, web, social networks, etc.); Use information and communication technologies to manage digital communication and e-reputation; Have basic notions in communication and media law (intellectual property, image rights, etc.); Coordinate a collective action involving partners from different backgrounds and cultures according to the project logic; Know the managerial aspects of team management (recruitment, leadership, evaluation, etc.) PUBLIC MANAGEMENT (MAP) track: Perfectly master the communication and marketing techniques in the non-market sphere; Know the basics to evaluate a public policy; Have a good knowledge in the fields of public policy management and public services; Know how to construct and implement a project; Know the basics of human resources in the public sector; Have a good knowledge of the field of public finances; Know the basics of public procurement law; Know how to implement a public-private partnership. INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT (MHI) track: Have a global vision of the company and its interactions with its internal and external environment; Define and implement a strategy; Manages a tourism service and accommodation company; Plan resources and budgets; Manage your work teams (compose teams, lead, motivate, supervise and control the execution of projects); Start your own business. MANAGEMENT OF ART AND CULTURE (MAC) track: Coordinate the activity of a team or direct a structure; Manage a budget; Organize cultural events Define a museographic project (event, exhibition, acquisition, etc.) and design actions to present and promote heritage and collections; Organize and control the transport of works of art and their administrative and contractual compliance; Inventory of heritage, collections and control the movement of the works (inventory, entries, exits, etc.) but also search and acquire new works, pieces, objects of collections (purchase, gift, bequest, loan, etc); Control the state of conservation of the elements of inheritance, and collections and determine actions of restoration or reconstitution; Track and update cultural, regulatory and professional information; Develop and promote the tourism of a region, notably by enhancing its cultural and artistic heritage. CONSULTING AND RESEARCH IN MANAGEMENT SCIENCES (RCSG) track: Know the epistemological foundations of the management sciences; Know the major theoretical trends and related experts in specific areas; Elaborate an issue on a given theme; Conduct a relevant literature search (internet, bibliographic database, etc.); Construct a relevant study plan for a research project; Construct a written or oral presentation that meets academic standards in the social sciences; Master exploratory methodologies and associated statistical processing tools; Know how to use the main databases in a specific area of ​​research; Intervene in specific areas (commercial, information systems, HR, etc.) to establish a diagnosis, and recommend solutions backed by scientific knowledge validated in the field and accompany the organization in the change.
