Présentation

Ce cursus de niveau master combine une majeure technique rattachée au master informatique (Data Science, ou Financial Technologies - FinTech ) et une mineure en innovation et entrepreneuriat, dont le contenu est spécifié au niveau européen par toutes les universités partenaires de l'EIT Digital Master School. A noter qu'une majeure en systèmes autonomes/robotique est directement attachée au diplôme d'ingénieur Robotique de Polytech Nice Sophia.

Un étudiant inscrit à l'EIT Digital Master School doit étudier dans deux pays différents pendant son année d'entrée et son année de sortie.

Ce master fait partie de l’offre de formation de l’Ecole Universitaire de Recherche Systèmes Numériques pour l'Humain (EUR DS4H).

En plus de votre majeure, vous avez la possibilité d’enrichir votre cursus avec un catalogue unique de cours pluridisciplinaires (mineures), de tutorats (immersion en laboratoire dès le M1) et de projets créatifs et d'innovation multidisciplinaires. En combinant ces options, sur un rythme semestriel, vous construisez votre formation à la carte en fonction de vos objectifs personnels et professionnels.
En partenariat avec les laboratoires de recherche en sciences du numérique de premier plan que compte Université Côte d'Azur, l'EUR DS4H propose une vision innovante des métiers du monde numérique qui dépasse les cloisonnements disciplinaires traditionnels. Les étudiants intéressés par le programme de EIT Digital master School doivent :
  • Etre prêts à suivre un master international.
  • Avoir une forte appétence pour l'innovation et l'entrepreneuriat.
  • Avoir une double culture " mathématiques appliquées " et informatique.
  • Se renseigner sur les conditions financières d'inscription au programme.

L'entrée en Master est sélective.

Candidatures 2024/2025

  • M1 : procédure propre à EIT Digital ou spécifique: contacter master-eitdigital@univ-cotedazur.fr
  • M2 : procédure spécifique et uniquement possible pour un étudiant déjà inscrit dans un parcours EIT Digital niveau M1 de la même spécialité et dans une université partenaire de la Master school EIT Digital

An oral interview follows the pre-selection phase based on the candidate's file and allows us to assess the candidate's qualities in terms of their interpersonal skills, elocution, clarity and coherence of reasoning, attention and concentration, emotionality, aggressiveness or lack of tact.

  • An English proficiency test, validated at the time of the application, is requested. It should at least correspond to a CEFR B2-level.

Programme

You can join the EIT Digital program at Université Côte d’Azur as either an entry (first year) or an exit (second year) student. The technical major programme is aligned for all possible entry universities per program, while the second year programme is a specialisation and can differ from exit to exit university in each program.


For EIT Digital students joining Université Côte d'Azur in their first (entry) year:
  • the entry Data Science program is hosted by the 4th year of Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school, and the student is offered to enroll in the Mundus/EIT Digital track of Sciences Informatiques (SI). Once successfully studying in the chosen exit university, the student receives: the engineering degree in SI, the master in computer science/EIT Digital track/Data Science option, and the master degree offered by the exit university.
  • for students enrolled for the EIT Digital Autonomous Systems program, the entry AUS program at Université Côte d'Azur is hosted by the 4th year of Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school, in the specific Mundus/EIT Digital in Autonomous Systems track of Robotics (ROBO) speciality. Once succesfully studying in the chosen exit university, the student receives: the engineering degree in robotics, and the master degree offered by the exit university.
For EIT Digital students joining Université Côte d'Azur in their second (exit) year:
  • the exit Data Science program is sharing some courses with the 5th year of Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school in Applied Mathematics, Option "Data Science" (SD), and the 5th year of Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school, Sciences Informatiques (SI). Once succesfully completing their studies, the student receives: the master in computer science/EIT Digital track/Data Science option, and the master degree offered by the entry university.
  • the exit FinTech program is sharing some courses with the 5th year of Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school, Applied Mathematics (MAM), Option "Informatique et Mathématiques Appliquées à la Finance et l'Assurance" (IMAFA) and Option "Data Science" (SD), and the 5th year of Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school, Sciences Informatiques (SI). Once succesfully completing their studies, the student receives: the master in computer science/EIT Digital track/Fintech option, and the master degree offered by the entry university.
The minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship sums up to a total of 30 ECTS: 24 ECTS in the first year, 6 ECTS in the second year of study. The 24 ECTS comprises a mandatory two weeks summer school organised by the EIT Digital Master school.

Given the chosen track, typical jobs are:

Affiliation to the EIT Digital Alumni network enables all graduated students to continue contributing to the EIT Digital ecosystem.
Some Post Master job offers, reserved to former graduated EIT Digital master school students are published.

Some of our former (approx 10 to 20%) Master students continue as PhD students, either in the frame of the EIT Digital Doctoral School, or in an purely academic doctoral school, in Europe and abroad. (Eg UniCA, University of Edimburgh, University of Tokyo, ...).

The majority of graduated master students holds a job position in Europe, some in start ups, some other in bigger industries (IBM, Amadeus, Philips, BMW, ...).

Inscriptions

  • 5 000 Euros per year for EU citizens
  • 15 000 Euros per year, for non-EU citizens

For admission year 2024, students will be awarded a 30% deduction on the tuition fee if they had previously completed a degree at one of EIT Digital Partner Universities.

All the application and subsequent registration is handled by the EIT Digital master school. Local admission and registration is then concluded at UniCA side, a few days before or after the arrival. Entry year students should be on site at the first week of September, and exit year students during the second week of September at latest.
