Paula ANTUNES POUSINHA PhD, HDR, Maître de Conférences Hors Classe. PhD in Biomedical Sciences (2012) in the laboratory of Dr. Joaquim Ribeiro, Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portugal. Postdoctorate (2012 - 2017) at the Institut Pharmacologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IPMC), CNRS UMR 7275, in Dr. Hélène Marie's team. The research, which I am developing at IPMC, with own funding (ANR JC JC, among others) focuses on the study of synaptic mechanisms involved in normal aging, and how the deregulation of these mechanisms can be associated with human diseases, notably Alzheimer's disease.
