Graduates can be in charge of designing, implementing, maintaining and assessing websites. They are able to perform all the actions involved in website management (updating, adaptating, referencing, reorganizing). They can study and analyze the requirements and design a specific standardized website with an attractive graphic design. They know how to use the IT resources used for web content management (software programs, image processing, file organization on a web server). They know the databases and how they interface with the web and know the basics of graphic design on the Internet. They can audit website ergonomics, accessibility and compliance with standards and propose appropriate solutions. Skills acquired include: - Designing a website's architecture, using specialized prototyping software, following principles of ergonomics and accessibility, and the W3C international guidelines. - Designing and creating databases. - Creating websites in PHP 5 based on databases. - Including and implementing a design via HTML5 and CSS3 and creating/editing images. - Using and adapting JavaScript/Ajax scripts to manage interactions with web users and optimize client-server exchanges.
