After obtaining his master degree in genetics, development and immunity from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis in France in 2010, Michaël have earned  his PhD in the laboratory  of Dr. Robert Ballotti (C3M, Nice) in 2014 where he have identify new active compound  against melanoma. Notably he has discover and propose to use a new family of compound interfering with protein folding pathway to target melanoma cell proliferation and resistance to therapy. In 2015, Michael joined  the laboratory of the Pr. Caroline Robert in Gustave Roussy Institute to understand how mRNA translation pathway and particularly translation initiation complex eIF4F affect response to immunotherapy. In 2020, Michaël joined Rocchi/Passeron team to study metabolic alterations driving melanoma immunotherapy resistance.
