Carole Rovère is a Senior Researcher at INSERM. She works in the “Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Institute” at Sophia Antipolis, where she studies since several years the role of the neuroinflammation in the energy balance. She tries to understand how the brain can control eating disorders. She is also very involved in the French scientific community and an active member of the French Neuro-Endocrinology Society.
She received awards for her researches on feeding behavior but also for her strong implication in the scientific culture events. She is the scientific organizer of the Brain Awareness Week on the French Riviera, under the auspices of the French Neuroscience Society. She plans a variety of events including lectures, theater, debates, workshops and open talks with young people and general public, to promote the dynamism of neuroscience research teams in Nice and Sophia Antipolis region and a better understanding of the brain function, and the repercussion of brain research in medicine.Informations complémentaires
