Katia Caldari is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Padova, Department of Economics and Management “M.Fanno”. She got her Ph.D. in History of Economic Thought at the University of Florence. She collaborated with the Marshall Library of Economics for the Marshall’s Archive, and with several universities including the University of Ancona, University of Roma Tre, and Osaka University.
She was visiting scholar at Newnam College (Cambridge), vising professor at the Hitotsubashi University, Institute of Economic Research, Tokyo, and invited guest for the Program “Associate Research Directors” at the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH, Paris). She was member of the Executive Committee and Secretary General of the Italian Association for the History of Political Economy (STOREP) and since 2020 she is member of the ESHET (European Society for the History of the Economic Thought) Executive Committee. Her main interests focus particularly on the contributions of Alfred Marshall, François Perroux, Robert Marjolin, and on French economic planning.
