Introduction

The International Preparatory Class is an intensive program that provides solid French language skills, thanks to 800 hours of French. The training is completed by 80 hours of fundamental specialization in Economics and Management and 40 hours of courses in methodology and French culture and civilization.

Students acquire a good knowledge of the French culture and environment, as well as a thorough mastery of university methodology, which prepares them for entry into the Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management.

Admission

Prerequisite

To join the program, the applicante must :
  • hold a foreign secondary school diploma allowing access to higher education in France.
  • have a level A2+ in French validated by a score greater than or equal to 250 in the TCF
  • obtain a favorable opinion from the academic commission on the evaluation of the background

This program is intended for international students who hold a high school diploma, equivalent to the French baccalaureate, and who do not have a good level of French, and who wish to enter the Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management.

Admission is made on the basis of an application file to be submitted to eur-elmi.international@univ-cotedazur.fr. 
This folder includes the following information :
• Application Form
• Transcripts of records and diploma from previous years of study
• ID Photo
• Identity document proving the nationality of the candidate
• CV
• French language certificate level A2 minimum


Application Period:
  • April 1 to May 31 for non-EU applicants
  • April 1 to June 30 for EU applicants

Program subject to change

French courses are given by teachers designated by the Alliance Française Nice Côte d'Azur. Specialty courses are given by teachers designated by Graduate School of Economics and Management.

Full time

The training begins with 800 hours of French language courses, followed by 120 hours of specialty courses taught in French. 

ORGANIZATION OF EXAMINATIONS
The exams take place in a single session.
French courses are evaluated throughout the course.
Each specialty course is the subject of a written exam in continuous assessment and/or exam at the end of the training. 
The exams are taken and corrected anonymously. 

CONDITIONS FOR VALIDATION OF THE PREPARATORY CLASS
To have an overall average of 10/20 or more
Obtain a B2 level in French during the preparatory class (this level must be validated by an official language certificate such as TCF/DELPH/DALF or by an official level certificate established by the Alliance Française).

The skills targeted are :
  • Level B2 in French language
  • Obtaining the necessary prerequisites to access to the Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management at the Université Côte d'Azur

This training allows access into the Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management of the University School of Economics and Management

Submission

6900€ for the year

Students admitted to the International Preparatory Class will not be registered administratively with the Université Côte d'Azur. 
The registration will be done at the Alliance Française Nice Côte d'Azur.
