Introduction
This program is based on 20 years of experience in the design and management of professional "quality - risk" training courses in Medicine and Science. It focuses on the initial and ongoing training of professionals capable of responding to major operational issues such as the organization, operation, evaluation and sustainability of the French health system.
The course offers 7 specialized M2 tracks:
4 sectoral methodological tracks
Quality and Risk Management in Health (QGRS)
Organizations and Evaluations in Primary Care (OrESP)
Engineering for Aging and Autonomy (IVA)
Public Health (SPUB)
3 technical and technological tracks
Data, Decision, Systems and eHealth (2D2S)
Biomedical Engineering (GBM)
Pedagogy and Simulation in Health Sciences (P3S)
1 track: Interventional Clinical Research (RECLINT)
Objectives
Upon graduating with a Master’s in Health Engineering, students will have developed in-depth knowledge and skills in the following areas:
The organization, management and certification of care structures (hospital, ambulatory, EHPAD),
the management of the institutions and the technical, organizational and social environment for the care of the elderly,
the construction of the decision-making scheme, the piloting, the coordination and the follow-up of the actions of education and the population-based prevention,
the development of health promotion
the design, implementation and monitoring of patient health information systems for professionals (e-health, m-health, telemedicine)
the biomedical research and analysis of health data to evaluate the performance of medical devices and organizations,
the biomedical engineering to master the design, maintenance and monitoring of the evolution of medical devices
the engineering of health professional training by haptic and numerical simulation
Specificities
The M1 is a full-time program every week.
The M2 is organized to allow students to either begin their professional integration or continue a job. The general organization of the program is as follows:
Common UEs in M1 allowing students to learn the methodologies of the major disciplinary fields (health - environment, organizations, methods, technologies and techniques, communication)
The M2 is built alternately to allow immersion in a company. The SPUB course is conducted via e-learning.
In M1 and M2, group instruction and projects are preferred. The Junior Master Enterprise and instructors are mobilized to initiate, monitor and promote projects related to the entrepreneurial environment.
Professional and Research Project (PPR):
In M1, the PPR corresponds to a 4-month internship (or to a tutored project, under exceptional circumstances). The PPR is also composed of a UE "tools" course in preparation for the internship.
In M2, the PPR corresponds to an internship of 6 months.
During the two years of training, students can do their internships in companies, administrations, associations or local, national or foreign research laboratories.
