Introduction

This program, limited to 36 students, is demanding and requires a strong personal commitment. It provides a bi-disciplinary education in the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science. This program offers wide possibilities for further study in both fields, at the crossroads between them, or in research and engineering.

This demanding program combines theoretical and practical knowledge while encouraging students to become autonomous. The objective is to provide equal competencies in in Mathematics and Computer Science. The program includes: Theoretical and practical training in mathematics and computer science Training in applied computing and scientific computing General and scientific English Competencies developed: Scientific mind (capacity to analyze and synthesize) and critical mind A strong theoretical and practical foundation in both disciplines Finally, students are given the opportunity to manage a project with focuses on the student's individual contribution and on teamwork.

This demanding curriculum is designed for students who have an excellent background in science and who wish to acquire skills in both disciplines. The curriculum is extended and includes 200 units spread over the 3 years instead of the usual 180. This program also provides students with a good level in foreign languages (English), a good general education and the methodologies to keep on learning throughout their future life.
