The Université Côte d'Azur wishes to encourage all its students to develop a minimum level of knowledge and skills in English.tablish a threshold mark of 8/20 to be able to benefit from the right to compensate within the transversal skills teaching unit and validate it by compensation. Thus, if a student achieves less than 8/20 in English, the Transversal Skills UE (CT) is not acquired. They could therefore end up with an average of more than 10/20 in the CT UE, and be subject to a deferral.
Please note that as the Transversal Competences UE is not compensated, it must be validated for the semester to be validated. Students with a mark of less than 8 in English must take this subject in session 2, otherwise they will receive a direct 0. This could jeopardize the semester, or even the year. - L1 LAS portal
