IdEx in motion

The Initiative of Excellence is a national label obtained by Université Côte d'Azur in 2016 as part of the "Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir" (PIA) and was made permanent by the state in 2021 following an evaluation by an international jury that followed the project over five years. Only nine sites have been awarded the IdEx label.

Today, as a true development program serving the site's strategy, the IdEx's activities are mainly organized around four key areas:

• The Pedagogy and Innovative Training Program
• The Innovation Program
• The International and Europe Program

Thanks to its Initiative of Excellence (IdEx) – a highly sought-after label – Université Côte d'Azur is positioning itself as a world-class research-intensive university, offering excellence in education in innovative sectors with strong international impact.
