Introduction

The audiovisual market comprises linear television channels and streaming platforms on one hand, and producers on the other, with the latter creating, selling, and producing, content. The productivity of a producer’s content pipeline relies heavily on the talent of its creatives, who are tasked with developing new formats and selling them to buyers (broadcasters or streamers).

Currently, the TV format market represents, alongside scripted, half of the production sector and this course is exclusively dedicated to the creation of TV formats in France. The sole aim is to develop the academic (creativity, project management, marketing, legal skills) and professional skills (knowledge of the international content market, awareness around formats, ability to respond to a creative brief, mastery of the pitch, creation of trailers, etc.) necessary for the creation, development, and marketing, of unscripted formats to broadcasters.
