The mission of CTEL is to examine literary texts from antiquity to the present day and develop a study of the problems of analysis and interpretation of artistic practices, as they arise in dance, music and theater. One of the main objectives of CTEL is to closely link artistic theory and practice. Its research program is organized around four themes: Theme I, Mimesis: literature and portrayal: literature, history of theatrical art. Theme II, Poiema: origin and forms of poetic creation: poetry and performance, avant-garde. Theme III, Writings of individuality and otherness: literature arts and migration, displacement, otherness, cultures. Theme IV, Performing arts practices: arts and creation, dance, music, photography, theater, performing and digital arts.
