Master SCIENCE POLITIQUE

The students receive in-depth training in Political Science in the first year of the master's degree, which is both theoretical and empirical. The preparation of a research dissertation makes it possible to address a personal objective in connection with the contemporary problems and is the occasion to initiate a transition towards the professionalization. The students thus receive instruction that gathers all the variants of political science, with a disciplinary introduction towards the public law. The internship is compulsory in the second year of the master's degree, for those who choose a "professional" option, and an internship is encouraged in the first year of the master's degree, to ensure an early professionalization of the students. The second year deepens the theoretical knowledge and skills (writing, oral expression, conducting surveys, communication of results). Courses in the second year of the master's program are essentially "seminar courses" which require the students to carry out research work prior to the sessions.
