The topics covered during this workshop will focus on the interactions and couplings between machine learning techniques and numerical simulation methods across all fields of application, in particular:
- the construction of parametric reduced-order models from simulation results
- calibration, parameter identification and inverse problems via machine learning
- the construction of hybrid simulations based on data and physical models
- deep learning for science (weather forecasting, climate models, etc.)
- machine learning for geometric design and mesh generation
- data-driven pre-processing of simulations
- synthetic data generation
- machine learning for simulation post-processing and scientific visualisation
- physics-informed learning
- operator learning
- hybridisation of simulators and machine learning techniques
(non-exhaustive list).
Those interested in contributing to this workshop should send a one-page abstract by 22 June to mlsim-contact@inria.fr
