Transferring between universities

The transfer allows your student file to be forwarded from your home university to your host university. This procedure is compulsory for all students who have been registered at a French university for less than ten years, regardless of the courses they have taken or the results they have achieved.

WHEN?

  • If the proposed course is accessible by pre-registration or application (Licence 1, Licence Professionnelle, BUT, Master 1, Master 2, etc...), you must apply to transfer your student file once you have received authorization to register with Université Côte d'Azur.
  • If the proposed course is accessible by right provided you meet the conditions (Licence 2 or Licence 3), you must request the transfer of your student file before your administrative registration.
Please note : some universities set a deadline for transfer requests. To find out about these deadlines, please contact your local schooling department at Université Côte d'Azur and/or the schooling department of your host university.

HOW TO APPLY

  • You are arriving at Université Côte d'Azur from another French university (mainland France and overseas): download the " Fiche Arrivée à Université Côte d'Azur" (Arrival at Université Côte d'Azur form) and send it to your Registrar's Office, along with your authorization to enroll at Université Côte d'Azur (Parcoursup admission letter, eCandidat acceptance letter, etc.) and your most recent transcripts.) and your most recent transcripts.

  • You are leaving Université Côte d'Azur for another French university (metropolitan France and overseas): contact your host university to find out about administrative registration procedures and dates, and download the Université Côte d'Azur Departure Form.
