Le colloque « La lutte contre les violences sexuelles liées aux conflits - Cadres normatifs et action opérationnelle » se tiendra à Nice les 25-26 janvier 2024.

Dans le cadre de ce partenariat institutionnel original, le colloque vise à croiser les regards d’experts académiques et d’acteurs internationaux, nationaux et locaux face au défi majeur que constituent les violences sexuelles liées aux conflits. Sur la base d’une analyse des cadres de prévention et de réaction à ces violences sexuelles et de leurs lacunes, l’objectif est, en particulier, d’identifier comment les trois institutions pourraient conjointement contribuer à la lutte en combinant leurs actions.

En présence de Pramila Patten, Représentante spéciale des Nations Unies chargée de la question des violences sexuelles commises en période de conflit, une trentaine de participants, de divers horizons géographiques et institutionnels, partageront leurs connaissances et analyses critiques sur ces enjeux (en anglais ou en français, une interprétation simultanée sera assurée). Certains ont été invités par le comité scientifique organisateur en raison de leurs fonctions, de leur expertise ou expérience ; d’autres ont été sélectionnés sur la base d’un appel à candidature (lancé en septembre 2023).

Le colloque sera ainsi composé de cinq panels thématiques :

Panel 2 : Cadres nationaux d’enquêtes et poursuites pénales en matière de violences sexuelles liées aux conflits

Panel 3 : Accès à la justice et mécanismes de réparation

Panel 4 : Stratégies de prévention, soutien holistique et réponses communautaires aux violences sexuelles liées aux conflits

Panel 5 : Cadres politiques multisectoriels et campagnes de sensibilisation

The symposium « Combating Conflict-Related Sexual Violence - Normative Frameworks and Operational Action »  will be held in Nice on January 25-26, 2024.

As part of this original institutional partnership, the symposium aims to bring together the views of academic experts and international, national and local actors on the major challenge posed by conflict-related sexual violence. Based on an analysis of prevention and reaction frameworks and their shortcomings, the aim is, in particular, to identify how the three institutions could jointly contribute to the fight by combining their actions.


In the presence of Pramila Patten, United Nations Special Representative responsible for the issue of sexual violence committed in times of conflict, around thirty participants, from various geographical and institutional backgrounds, will share their knowledge and critical analyzes on these issues (in English or in French - simultaneous interpretation will be provided). Some of these participants have been directly invited by the organizing scientific committee because of their functions, expertise or experience; others were selected on the basis of a call for applications (launched in September 2023).


The symposium will thus be composed of five thematic panels:

Panel 2: National Criminal Justice Frameworks on the Investigation and Prosecution of CRSV

Panel 3: Access to Justice and Reparation Mechanisms

Panel 4: Prevention strategies, Holistic Support, and Community Responses to CRSV

Panel 5: Multi-sectoral policy frameworks and advocacy campaigns

 
 

Les travaux du colloque seront valorisés par la publication d’un livre électronique, dans le cadre d'une démarche de science ouverte.
